MEMPHIS, Tenn. –Grizzlies fans were given great news on Monday.

Marc Gasol announced he would re-sign with the team, getting a reported five year deal worth between $100 and $110 million.

According to reports, he would be given what’s known as a max deal once the deal is actually signed in a couple of weeks.

The Grizzlies franchise center average 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and was name First Team All-NBA, becoming the first ever All-Star starter in Grizz franchise history.

Of note, Gasol could have actually received more money had he signed a shorter deal and re-negotiated next summer.
