MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The stretch of Union Avenue between Riverside Drive and Front Street will be closed to through traffic Saturday from about 8 a.m. to noon.
The closure will be in place to set up a crane needed to install an air-conditioning unit on the roof of 47 Union Ave.
Those who need to take this route should instead use an alternate route consisting of Riverside Drive, Monroe Avenue and Front Street.
This detour will have signs to aid motorists.
