MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the 800 block of Chelsea Avenue Friday night.
Officers found the victim lying in the doorway of In and Out Grocery bleeding.
Investigators say the victim had been walking eastbound on Chelsea and was shot in front of 842 Chelsea.
The victim fell on the sidewalk before getting up and walking to the store.
The victim was transported to Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
A suspect has not been arrested at this time.
