MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s been five years, since Mid-South basketball legend Lorenzen Wrights was murdered, and there’s still no one behind bars for the crime.
Lorenzen Wright’s mother spoke at the vigil saying “Help me find out who murdered my son.”
“You just don’t understand this black hole that I exist in. I need to know! Please help me find who murdered my son!”
Hundreds showed up at the FedEx Forum Saturday night, for a vigil to remember the former Memphis Grizzlies and University of Memphis player.
Crime Stoppers tips have slowed in this case, but Marion Wright says she’s convinced somebody knows what happened and will eventually tell police.
