MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in a case involving the sexual exploitation of children.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the department received information 66-year-old Rickie Friar, a reservist from Millington, was involved in sex related crimes.
He was finally caught by the Arkansas State Police in Russellville.
Friar was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and solicitation, rape of a child and aggravated sexual battery.
He waived extradition and brought back to Memphis on Friday.
The Sex Crimes and Personal Crimes unites have been looking into gathering additional information.
