MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The U.S Marshals Task Force arrested the man who they say recorded a child abuse video that went viral on the internet.

A warrant was obtained for Christian Banks on Thursday.

WREG first showed you parts of the video that made the rounds on social media last week.

In the video you could see a woman roughly handling a 12-day-old child.

At one point she even threw him across the room.

It turns out the child did have an injury to the back of his head.

It took Banks more than 123 minutes before he helped his son.

Police also say Banks antagonized his girlfriend, who he said suffers from manic depression, by telling her she was going to jail.

The 28-year-old will be charged with aggravated child abuse neglect and endangerment.

The Deputy District Attorney General Jennifer Nichols said Banks could face up to 15 years in prison for not doing something.
