MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A widespread technical wreaked havoc Tuesday for people who depend on their internet and phone service through AT&T and Sprint.
Customers in much of Kentucky, Alabama and Tennessee were without cellphone, landline and internet service Tuesday afternoon.
Service was restored Tuesday night.
Outages were also reported in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Georgia.
In Nashville, the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Nashville Fire Department are without Internet service, according to WSMV.
