MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man has been charged with first-degree murder after a shooting on Friday in Orange Mound.
Investigators identified Deangelo Alford, 20, as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with first-degree murder on Monday.
On April 18, at 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Ethel Street.
Police say they located a man who was pronounced dead on the scene.
After further investigation, police say preliminary information indicates that the victim knew the suspect.
