If it’s your thing, what’s better than a cocktail with a twist?
Madison Hotel bartender Chris Fairy works with Memphis-made Pyramid Vodka to create some great, signature cocktails, and he’s here to demonstrate.

THE COCKTAILS:
Borderline
- 2 ounces Pyramid Vodka
- ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
- ¾ ounce simple syrup
- 3 slices fresh jalapeno
Muddle jalapeno with simple syrup and lime juice. Add vodka and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Black & Yellow
- 2 ounces Pyramid Vodka
- 4 1-inch pieces of fresh pineapple
- 6 black peppercorns
- Grapefruit soda
Muddle pineapple and peppercorns. Add vodka and shake with ice. Strain into a collins glass filled with fresh ice. Top with grapefruit soda and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
The Cardinal
- 2 ounces Pyramid Vodka
- ¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
- ¾ ounce fresh grenadine
- 1 dash orange bitters
- 1 egg white
Dry shake all ingredients without ice to emulsify egg white. Add ice and shake hard. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange peel.
