KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Bradley County woman found herself behind bars after falsifying a report she was sexually assaulted by a Tennessee Police Officer.
Kimberly May Minor told officers she was assaulted on July 31 in Sevier County.
At the request of the District Attorney Generals, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation stepped in to handle the case.
During their investigation, they discovered the information provided by Minor was not truthful.
On Wednesday, a Bradley County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Minor and once count of filing a false report.
Her bond was set at $5,000.
