MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It’s National Dog Day!
The day was founded in 2004 by pet lifestyle expert, author and animal advocate Colleen Paige. The goal is to bring attention to our pups and animals waiting in shelters for their forever homes.
And a survey by Milo’s Kitchen said Tennessee is ranked the fourth most dog-happy state in the U.S.
