MEMPHIS, Tenn. — On Friday, a convicted sex offender was sentenced to a total of 90 years behind bars for sexually assaulting another child.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, Brian Adams was convicted in July for the 2012 rape and sexual battery of a 6-year-old girl.
When he appeared before a judge on Friday, he was sentenced to 30 years for the aggravated sexual battery charge and 60 years for the rape charge.
This was the second time Adams has been convicted for crimes against children.
In 1989, he was convicted and added to the sex offender registry for sexually molesting three children ages 4, 5, and 12.
