MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Millington, Tennessee named a new Police Chief on Thursday.
Arthur Heun was appointed the new Police Chief for the Millington Police Department.
WREG discovered Heun is a retired law enforcement officer who worked for 27 years with different agencies including Pulaski County, Dyersburg,Olive Branch and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
Katie Rufener was at the meeting when Heun was appointed and reported only one alderman, Chris Ford, voted against electing him to the position.
He simply stated he believed the city was moving too fast in the decision.
