Legendary Memphis musician Larry Raspberry and his band The Highsteppers are being given a Brass Note on Beale Street, and Larry is celebrating with a huge concert at the Levitt Shell at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
Larry started The Highsteppers in 1969, and since then he’s literally given dozens of musicians not only a place in his band but also their start in the music business.
