MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A night club on Mt. Moriah has officially closed its doors for good, the District Attorney’s office announced on Friday.

Club Mansion in the 2500 block of Mt. Moriah Road was shut down as a public nuisance last week.

On Friday, the club operator, Sammie Kuykendall, signed an agreement that he would close the club down for good.

However, he would not admit to any wrongdoing.

The club was shut down last week due to recent complaints of shootings, drug trafficking, illegal liquor sales and alcohol sales to minors.

In addition, the Memphis Police Organized Crime Unit Vice Team documented numerous aggravated assaults, thefts, and drug use on the premises over the past year.

According to the agreement signed by Kuykendall, he will never operate another business at the Mt. Moriah location, but he can access the building to get his property.
