MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man from Texas was arrested on Thursday after he was caught with thousands of dollars worth of cocaine in his truck.

According to the West Tennessee Violent Crime and Drug Task Force Director Tim Helldorfer, officers pulled over Brian Keith Parker, 40, for a traffic violation on Interstate 40.

During the stop, officers noticed a side panel on his Chevy Silverado was messed up and called in the drug dogs.

They alerted officers to 15 pounds of cocaine.

In all, the drugs had a street value of $180,000.

Parker was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver.
