MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis football’s 5-0 record has landed it a spot on the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll, at No. 25.

The Tigers remain undefeated after taking care of the South Florida Bulls, 24-17, on the road Friday.

A wild Saturday saw four top-10 teams lose, leading to a major shakeup in the coaches poll Top 25.

Ole Miss, Georgia, Notre Dame and UCLA all exited the top 10, making room for new No. 6 Clemson, No. 7 Utah, No. 9 Oklahoma and No. 10 Alabama.

Florida was the poll’s highest riser, leaping from No. 23 to No. 12 after upsetting the Rebels, who fell from fifth to No. 13. Georgia and UCLA tied for the poll’s biggest fall, both dropping 10 spots from No. 6 and No. 10.

Ohio State retained its spot at the top of the poll despite losing 11 first-place votes, pulling 50 of a possible 62. They were followed by new No. 2 TCU, No. 3 Michigan State, No. 4 Baylor and new No. 5 LSU.

Entering the poll were No. 21 Michigan, No. 23 Iowa, No. 24 Boise State and No. 25 Memphis, taking the place of Wisconsin, Mississippi State, West Virginia and Oregon.
