SACRAMENTO, Calif. — One of the men who stopped a terror attack on a French train has been stabbed.

CBS News  reports Spencer Stone was repeatedly stabbed Wednesday night.

The Air Force confirmed the stabbing and said Stone is in stable condition.

CNN reports the attack happened outside a bar near Travis Air Force Base where he is stationed.

Stone was among three Americans who took down a terrorist in August.

Airman Stone was with childhood friends Anthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos.

Skarlotos is enrolled at the Oregon college where nine people were shot to death, and would have been there except he is taking part in a reality show.
