FARRAGUT, Tenn. — A Knox County teenager has been arrested and accused of chasing two women with a piece of lumber while wearing a clown mask at a Farragut park last month.
News outlets in Knoxville are reporting that 18-year-old Stanley M. Dallery faces two counts of assault after authorities said Dallery donned the mask and threatened the 36-year-old and 28-year-old female joggers Sept. 20 with the long piece of lumber in Anchor Park.
Knox County Major Michael MacLean said the incident was the most recent in what the sheriff’s office said were a string of similar pranks by a group of teenagers.
Authorities said Dallery was with three underage boys during the assault against the two joggers.
It was not known Sunday whether any of the three juvenile suspects has been charged.
