PROVIDENCE, R.I. — For the second week in a row, Memphis junior quarterback Paxton Lynch has been named the American Athletic Conference’s offensive player of the week.

Lynch set a school record with 447 passing yards as he completed 32 of 44 passes with four touchdowns in No. 16/16 Memphis’ 66-42 win against Tulsa.

Memphis now has a winning streak of 14 games.

Lynch had five touchdowns in the game.

According to the AAC, ‘Lynch registered his sixth straight game with at least 300 passing yards and his second 400-yard game of the season.’
