Tigers football coach Justin Fuente received a new contract offer from the University of Memphis a few weeks ago, reportedly worth around $2.5 million a year with more money for his assistants.
As more job openings in Power 5 conferences come open, Memphis wants to be proactive.
On Monday, Fuente discussed the offer from the UofM.
