MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are on the hunt for the suspect who tried to carjack a woman early Saturday morning.
Around 6 a.m., Memphis Police received the call from the 4400 block of Poplar Avenue.
A woman said the suspect jumped into her car, but couldn’t operate the manual shift.
He then fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
Investigators say he was last seen driving westbound on Poplar.
The woman was not injured.
At this time, police have not released any suspect information.
