DELHI —  Ten people are dead after a military aircraft crashed on take-off in the capital city of Delhi.

The BBC reported the plane hit a wall in the Dwarka district and burst into flames killing all of the border patrol officers on board.

It came to rest in a field not too far away.

More than an dozen emergency crews rushed to get the flames under control, and now they are dealing with the debris that remains.

The plane was on its way to Ranchi when the accident happened.
