BILOXI, Miss. — Presidential candidate Donald Trump will be making a campaign stop in the Magnolia state at the beginning of the new year.

According to the event website, Trump will be at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi on January 2.

The free event will start promptly at 7 p.m. but all those who register early will be allowed inside starting at 5 p.m.

WLOX reported this is the first time the presidential candidate has made a campaign stop in the area.

Tickets for the event were in such high demand, the website experienced glitches when the announcement was initially made.

Only about 13,000 tickets have been made available to the public.
