MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A local man is wanted by police after he robbed a local Dollar General store of toilet paper.

On Thursday, January 8, officers responded to the store in the 2400 block of Central Avenue, reported Memphis Police.

An employee told them they first noticed the man when he walked into the store acting suspiciously.

After watching him walk around the store for several minutes, they said he went down an aisle, picked up two packs of toilet paper, and made his way to the front of the store.

Before he made it to the register, he pulled out a gun, and waved it at employees as he walked by.

He was seen leaving the parking lot in a red car.
