MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The westbound lanes of Bill Morris Parkway (State Route 385) are back open after being shut down for about two hours due to a jackknifed tractor trailer.
The accident happened just before 2 a.m. Wednesday near the Winchester exit as a wintry mix of precipitation began falling in the area.
It took police and emergency personnel about two hours to remove the truck and reopen the highway to traffic.
The eastbound lanes weren’t affected by the incident.
