MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Winter Storm Warning for the Mid-South is active until Friday at 6 p.m.
Sleet changed over to snow around daybreak.
Snow accumulations of 2-4 inches are possible.
Covington reports snow in excess of 4 inches.
Some areas, likely closer to Nashville, could see heavier snow amounts.
Travel around northern parts of the MidSouth will be difficult.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol has cancelled all vacations and troopers will work 12 hour shifts.
