Update: A 15-year-old has been charged with aggravated child abuse for duct taping his sisters.
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a photo circulating social media that shows a young girl with duct tape around her head and binding together her hands and feet.
The photo is accompanied by a caption that reads “Lmfao happy valentines day [name]” and is shown to have been taken in Gibson.
Deputies have identified the girl in the photo and the boy they believe is responsible.
The sheriff’s office said doctors looked at the girl and did not find any physical injuries.
Charges are expected to be filed Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities are not releasing the suspect’s name because he is a juvenile.
