HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. — Thirty guns were stolen from a Helena-West Helena home Monday, police said.

The guns belonged to a former police chief who died and left the guns in a safe at the residence, police said.

Police also said a large amount of ammunition was stolen.

Police are investigating the case.
