MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Riverside Drive is open again after being closed due to a mudslide.

The slide happened just before noon Thursday during torrential rain.

Because crews were working in the area, both north and southbound lanes were closed.

Large concrete barriers were put up to block more mud from potentially sliding into the road.

No one was injured.

Large homes that sit on the bluff should be OK because their support beams run under the trail below the homes that support them.
