Just in the last week, there have been several stories about anti-Muslim bias in the news. Michelle Bachmann’s campaign against people she alleges are Muslim Brotherhood affiliates in U.S. Government. Close to home, some GOP members in Tennessee have suggested sanctions against Governor Haslam for hiring a Muslim in his administration. Not to mention the ongoing dispute over a Mosque in Murfreesboro. But a special event in Memphis is teaching tolerance. Rashad Shariff is with Memphis Interfaith.
