MEMPHIS, Tenn. — First responders were called to the scene of a crash involving a MATA bus.
The bus ran off the road and struck a tree on Poplar Avenue and Exeter Road.
WREG has learned the only person on the bus was in fact the driver who had just dropped off his last passenger when the incident occurred.
Police have not released the driver’s condition.
No other vehicles were involved.
