MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The medical examiner has complete the autopsy of Alexio Allen, 30, who was shot and killed by Memphis Police in March.

Police responded to the Raleigh home after a woman reported her son had a shotgun.

When officers arrived, police said the man, Allen, pointed the gun at them, and they fired back.

The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide by multiple gunshot wounds.

Allen was shot in the neck, back, right shoulder and left arm, according to the autopsy report.

The medical examiner was unable to determine the range of fire of the gunshot wounds.

First responders and hospital staff performed lifesaving efforts, but Allen was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital, according to the report.
