School registration is underway in Shelby County for the 2016-2017 school year.
It’s the earliest parents have ever been able to register their students.
Angela Hargrave is with Shelby County Schools.
Here are the facts:
- The online registration site opened Monday, May 9, at 8 a.m. and will run though the May 26.
- Early online registration is open to any student currently attending an SCS school who will be entering grades K-12 next year.
- District-wide Registration Night is Thursday, May 19. All schools will be open 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. To provide computer access and help any families who need assistance with registration.
- Parents who need computer access or assistance any time during the early registration period can visit our Parent Welcome Center (2687 Avery), Northeast Regional Office (920 N. Highland) or Student Service Office (2800 Grays Creek, Arlington) during regular business hours.
- Online registration for students who are new to SCS will begin July 25.
