On Tuesday, we celebrated legendary coach, and Hall of Famer, Jerry Johnson.
He coached more than a thousand basketball games in his 46 seasons at LeMoyne-Owen College, and now the 98-year-old’s legacy will continue to help students for years to come.
Coach Johnson stopped by with two of the many athletes’ he mentored- former Mayor Dr. Willie Herenton and Jeffrey Higgs, the Head of Community Development for LeMoyne-Owen.
