(Memphis) Mid-Southerners with two dollars and a dream are lining up at stores for tickets to tonight’s Powerball drawing.
The $320 million jackpot is the fourth highest in the history of the game. The jackpot was originally estimated to be valued at $305 million, but strong sales pushed it even higher.
The Powerball jackpot last topped $300 million in February when a winning ticket was sold in Rhode Island worth $336.4 million.
