Here in Shelby County there’s also a debate over money, specifically sales taxes.  The County Commission voted this week to let you decide in the November elections, if you want to increase the sales tax here by a half-a-cent.  But here’s the rub, if it passes, any sales tax increase approved in the suburbs to fund municipal schools can’t happen.  Commissioners Steve Mulroy and Terry Roland are here.
