MOBILE, Ala. — Two women from the Memphis area were killed and four other people were hurt in a crash outside of Mobile.

The two who were killed were both driving and crashed into each other, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

A spokesperson for the agency identified them as Mary W. Robinson, 64, of Memphis, Tennessee, and Amanda L. Murley, 26, of Cordova, Tennessee.

Four passengers were taken to a hospital.

The crash happened 10 miles north of Mobile on U.S. 45 Saturday afternoon.

Alabama state troopers are investigating the crash.
