MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Investigators with the Memphis Fire Department are looking into a suspicious fire at a Hickory Hill business.
The fire broke out around 2 a.m. Friday at Bold & Beautiful Boutique and Be Pretty Beauty Bar on East Shelby Drive near Crump Road.
Firefighters say flames and smoke were coming out of the front of the business — which is in a strip mall with several other stores.
The business sustained heavy damage but firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the other businesses.
Investigators say they found evidence that someone may have intentionally set the store on fire.
They’re asking anyone who may have been in the area and saw something to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
