MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The visitation is underway for a TBI agent killed in the line of duty in Jackson, Tennessee last week.

Shelby County native De’Greaun Frazier was shot in an attempted robbery during an undercover drug operation.

With heavy hearts, family and friends gathered at Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova Tuesday night.

Local law enforcement as well as state law enforcement officers were on hand to honor Frazier and his service to our community.

Before becoming a special agent with the TBI back in February, Frazier worked with the Millington Police Department.

He was also employed by the University of Memphis and worked as a reserve deputy for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Those who knew Frazier, or “Dee”, said he was hardworking and a guy who could instantly cheer you up.

A gentle giant.

Friends told WREG he simply wanted to make his community better.

Agent Frazier leaves behind a wife and two children.

His funeral will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
