SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. – Deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a deadly shooting in the Shelby Forest area.
Earle Farrell, SCSO spokesperson, says a man’s body was found inside a home on St. Paul Road west of Millington around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Friends told deputies that the gate leading to the home was unlocked — so they went up to the house to check on the man.
So far, the sheriff’s office hasn’t released the victim’s name — but we’re told he was in his late 50’s and is well-known in the neighborhood.
Deputies say they don’t have any suspects at this time.
