MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man who was hit while walking on the Greenline on Tuesday has passed away.
According to authorities, the incident happened just before 9 a.m. at Waring near Princeton.
The driver told officers she was heading southbound on Waring when she struck the man, causing him to hit her front window.
He fell onto the pavement unresponsive.
The victim was taken to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
He later died from his injuries.
Police identified him as Thomas Wilson, 69.
