He’s one of the world’s best thriller writers, so when you write a book James Patterson says he wishes was his, you pretty much can’t get any higher praise.

And that’s exactly what has happened to first-time author Kerri Maniscalco.

Her debut novel has been chosen as the first young adult book to be released by Patterson’s new publishing group.

It’s called “Stalking Jack The Ripper”; the heroine is sort of like a gothic Nancy Drew.
