Memphis is seeing the return of a potentially deadly disease we haven’t heard much about in decades.
The Shelby County Health Department says five people got sick with Legionnaires’ disease after staying at a La Quinta Inn off Millbranch Road in the airport area.
The health department has now shut that motel down.
Investigators are trying figuring out exactly how the guests came into contact with legionella bacteria.
