MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Investigators with the Memphis Fire Department are trying to figure out what caused a late night fire at a Raleigh apartment complex.

The fire broke out around 10:45 p.m. Sunday at the Country View Apartments near Raleigh-Millington Road and St. Elmo.

Firefighters say flames were coming through the roof when they arrived on the scene.

Luckily, there were no injuries to either residents or firefighters.

Several units sustained fire, water and smoke damage.

Officials didn’t have a count on the number of people displaced by the blaze — but they say the American Red Cross was called in to provide assistance.
