MEMPHIS, Tenn. –MLGW has restored power to several Memphis neighborhoods.

At 5:30 a.m., more than 1300 people were without power out in the Bartlett area and in East Memphis.

Another outage started just after 3 a.m. Tuesday. More than 4,100 customers were without power in the downtown area as well as parts of Midtown, Orange Mound and Binghampton.

By 4 a.m., MLGW had reduced the number of outages to just over 3,200 customers in areas like Mud Island and Uptown.

Power was restored to all customers by 4:30 a.m.

There’s no word yet from MLGW on what caused Tuesday morning’s outage.
