After months of uncertainty, retired Memphis city employees finally know what their health care options will be next year.
Yesterday, Mayor Jim Strickland announced he’s bringing back health care benefits for employees who retired before the age of 65.
The city eliminated those benefits three years ago as a way to save money.
But many say the changes don’t go far enough. Donna Kirk’s husband was killed battling a fire in Frayser 13 years ago.
