(Memphis) At least nine students were taken to the hospital after their bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash.
The occurred around 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Gill Rd. & Holmes Rd. in Whitehaven. That is just a few blocks south of Fairley High School which is where the bus was headed.
The engine compartment of an SUV was smashed under the bus. A minivan apparently hit the SUV from behind.
We’re told 33 students were on the bus at the time of the crash and that none of them were seriously injured. Nine students were initially taken to the hospital and others will be checked out as a precaution.
