(Memphis) Memphis Mayor AC Wharton, Germantown Mayor Sharon Goldsworthy and dozens of people from both communities gathered Friday near Shelby Farms for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official connection of the Germantown and Wolf River Greenway trails.
The collaboration is part of a much larger project that will eventually use the Harrahan bridge over the Mississippi River to connect a walking and biking trail from West Memphis, Arkansas through Memphis and Shelby County into Fayette County.
