MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. — Marshall County was urged to take cover for a Tornado Warning, but the threat has passed.
The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Warning for north-central Marshall County around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. It was canceled about 20 minutes later.
People in that area were at risk for damage to mobile homes, roofs and vehicles.
A severe thunderstorm produced a tornado over Red Banks, according to the NWS. It was moving northeast at 20 mph.
